                                             Auckland pedestrian safety campaign, 2008.

 

The interactive quality of the trompe l’oeil genre really came to the fore.  Consisting of five executions, this campaign bought the safety message in a truly engaging form.  An instant inner-city tourist attraction, even the journalist from TVNZ couldn’t resist standing in the shark’s mouth during the interview.

Painting in the streets of Auckland, especially during rush hour, took some real fortitude!
